Connect Dapper to Claude
Anthropic's web app, desktop app and CLI. One connector covers all three.
MCP endpoint
https://api.dapperglobal.com/mcpBefore you start
- Account
- Personal or organization account — any Claude account works.
- Plan
- Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. A free account can hold one custom connector at a time.
- Where it works
- claude.ai in the browser, Claude Desktop, and Claude Code in the terminal.
- Permissions
- None on Pro or Max. On Team and Enterprise an Owner adds the connector once for the whole organization and members just click Connect.
Step by step
- 1
Open the connector settings
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors. On Team and Enterprise an Owner does this under Organization settings → Connectors instead.
- 2
Add a custom connector
Click “Add custom connector” and paste the Dapper endpoint. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty: Dapper registers your client on its own.
https://api.dapperglobal.com/mcp - 3
Sign in to Dapper
Click Add. Claude opens the Dapper portal in your browser — sign in with your Dapper account and approve the request. There is no API key to copy.
- 4
Turn it on in a chat
Open a new chat, click the + button in the composer, choose Connectors and switch Dapper on. The toggle is per conversation.
- 5
Ask something
Claude picks the tools on its own. Try: “Which AI bills moved in Brazil this week?”
Another way in
From the terminal (Claude Code)
One command registers the same server; then run /mcp inside Claude Code to trigger the browser login.
claude mcp add --transport http dapper https://api.dapperglobal.com/mcpThese clients move their settings around often. Steps verified in September 2026 — if a menu has moved, the endpoint at the top of this page has not.
