Quickstart
From zero to your first authenticated request in five steps.
- 1
Get an API key
Create a key from the Dashboard. You need a Dapper account; if you don't have one yet, request a demo.
- 2
Call a public endpoint
No key needed — to check connectivity:
curl https://api.dapperglobal.com/v1/health - 3
Find your country codes
Countries are addressed by their ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code (BR, CO, MX…). GET /v1/countries lists every code and the domains available for each. The legacy numeric id (e.g. 8) is still accepted, and responses include both country_code and country_id.
curl https://api.dapperglobal.com/v1/countries - 4
Call a data endpoint with your key
Pass your key in the X-API-Key header and address the country by its code:
curl -H "X-API-Key: dpr_live_..." \ "https://api.dapperglobal.com/v1/regulations?country_code=BR&limit=5" - 5
Paginate and respect limits
Page through with meta.next_cursor and watch the X-RateLimit-* headers.
Built for AI agents
The MCP server exposes the whole API as discoverable tools. Connect it to your assistant with your Dapper account, or with your API key if it runs on a server.
